(2002) Paper, ink, water, pneumatics, 100x120x10cm

A series of pressurized ink wells deposit their contents over absorbent paper. A solvent (in this case water) is also pumped out which helps to separate the different pigments contained in the colours. The principal behind this piece is essentially paper chromatography where the various ink's are separated into all the different coloured constituent pigments.
